Where we use it

A firm is found because of how it is built. The name, the visual system, the words, the pages and the data underneath them decide what a search engine can show and what an AI answer can quote. Presence by architecture draws that structure first and builds every surface on it, so each new page adds to the whole instead of starting again.

Why It Matters

A campaign holds a place for as long as it is paid. A structure holds it on the days nobody touches it. Every engagement is decided in six layers, always in the same order, so that each decision rests on one already made: the position, the name, the visual system, the language, the content and the infrastructure. The smallest complete structure is a Moon: one site, its words, its photographs, the brand book and the templates, made in one week. A catalogue abroad is a Planet; a main site with its satellites on one engine is a System. Each is the same structure at a different size.

What It Is Not

It is not a kind of SEO, and it is not a design style. Search is one of its three disciplines and design another; the structure decides what each of them can do. Nor is it a platform: nothing is rented, and the domain, the server, the files and every login stay in the firm’s name.

How to Check It on Your Own Site

  1. Write down, in one sentence, who the firm is for and what it says first. Then read the home page, a service page and the structured data behind them: do all three say that sentence?
  2. List the suppliers who touch the presence: site, brand, search, content. Ask who owns the whole.
  3. Count the decisions that come back every month (where a page goes, what a deck looks like, which page a buyer lands on). The ones that recur are the structure that was never drawn.
